Live Event Project and Technical Management

APservices is able to offer production, project and technical management services on various levels, both for one off events and for longer term projects. Drawing on extensive experience and numerous contacts within the industry a comprehensive service can be offered.

The efficient co-ordination of the many departments and suppliers typically found on any one event - all fighting for time, space, money etc. - is key to a successful event. APservices project managers are able to combine technical and artistic knowledge and experience to acheive this.

In addition APservices has good relationships with many service companies both domestic and worldwide and is able to call upon a vast range of freelancers all with individual skills and strengths.

Technical pre-production is vital, as is full documentation relating to all site health and safety issues and procedures - APservices provides this as part of the service.

Permanent Installation Design & Management

The experiences gained from working in the pressured and time critical environment of delivering a ‘show’ have proved invaluable when applied in more construction orientated environments. Deadlines in the event world are usually absolute and clients are regularly impressed by the no nonsense 'can-do' attitude of personnel from this background and their ability to deliver on time and on budget, overcoming challenges as and when they arise.

APservices is able to call upon personnel of many disciplines, including electricians, riggers, engineers, wiremen, carpenters and all manner of other tradesmen and consultants. All work is carried out to exceptional standards and to comply with all current standards and legislation.

Alongside project management, APservices are able to offer technical design services, either as a supplier or on a consultancy basis. This can include lighting, audio, video, automation, communications or any combination of the above.

Recent projects include part of the 02 redevelopment of the Millennium Dome. Three major hospitality areas, including the ’02 Blue Room’ were fitted out with a variety of interactive technologies. The scope of this contract included co-ordinating all mechanical and electrical work involved, as well as overseeing the commissioning stage of the works, whilst carefully handling the often difficult relationship between main contractors and 'fit-out' sub contractors.
